Connector Sage 50 + PrestaShop

Real sync between your Sage ERP and your online store. No full dumps, no product recreation, no lost SEO.

Built on Lynx Hub, the Lynx Devs sync platform. Your PrestaShop catalog stays untouched: it's updated by reference, with the SEO fields Sage doesn't have, created on both sides if you need them.

Connecting your ERP to your store can destroy your catalog

It's not a remote possibility: it's the industry's usual pattern when the ERP runs the store. Here's how a PrestaShop catalog breaks.

Your URLs carry the product ID embedded

If the connector deletes and recreates products, PrestaShop's id_product changes — and with it, every URL in your store.

PrestaShop doesn't redirect on its own

It's not a pending bug: the PrestaShop team itself closed it as expected behavior. If URLs change, the 404 stays.

Sage has no fields for your SEO

link_rewrite, meta_title and meta_description don't exist in your ERP. A connector with the ERP as master has nothing to write there: it regenerates them from the product name or leaves them empty.

What else gets lost in a delete-and-reimport

Reviews and ratings, image URLs, position within category, accumulated add date, and the products referenced in your historical orders.

We connect your ERP without touching your catalog

The ERP doesn't run your store. Here's what we don't touch, and how we make it possible.

  • We never delete anything, even with data already on both sides

The hard case is having a catalog in PrestaShop and records in Sage 50 at the same time. That's exactly the one we solve: we update by reference, without recreating products or changing their URLs.

  • Sync only when something changes

No periodic full dumps that overload your store or your ERP. Only what changed gets synced, when it changed — your store doesn't slow down during peak sales hours.

  • We build the fields Sage is missing

If you want your SEO title, description and friendly URL synced, we create those fields in Sage and in PrestaShop. We don't leave them empty or regenerate them from the product name.

  • Maintenance and support included, and a clean exit

The plan includes compatibility updates and support from the team that built it. And since we never touch your catalog, if you ever leave, your store stays intact — only the sync stops.

Ask this to any connector provider

We already have the answer. Copy these and ask any other provider — it also works as a script if you'd rather talk to us directly.

What happens to my current PrestaShop catalog? Would it get deleted?

We update existing products by reference, without deleting and recreating. If a connector recreates them, id_product changes → every URL changes → massive 404s, and PrestaShop doesn't redirect on its own.

I already have products in the store and records in the ERP, with different data. Which one wins? Do I lose anything?

There's a field-by-field conflict policy, and you decide it. The sector's comfortable answer is «the ERP wins» — in practice, your store loses.

How does the connector perform? Does it place a heavy load on the site, or does it only connect when there are changes?

It syncs on change. A periodic full dump loads both the store and the ERP at once, and it usually falls right during peak sales hours.

What happens to my titles, SEO descriptions and URLs? Are they still mine?

It's the question nobody answers well: Sage has no such fields, so a connector with the ERP as master regenerates them from the product name or leaves them empty. We build the fields that are missing.

If I stop working with you, what happens to my store?

It stays intact, because the catalog was never touched. Only the sync stops.

How we implement the connector

It's not installing a plugin and crossing your fingers. It's activating, on the Lynx Hub platform, a connector already built, and tuning it to your setup, with supervised go-live.

01

Analysis of your setup

We study your Sage 50 and PrestaShop installation: versions, custom fields, catalog already existing on one or both sides. The connector adapts to your case, not the other way around.

  • Technical audit
  • Field and entity mapping
  • Identification of pre-existing data
02

Connector activation on Lynx Hub

The sync engine already exists on Lynx Hub. We configure the Sage-PrestaShop connector with the conflict policy and the custom fields your case needs.

  • Connector on Lynx Hub
  • SEO field creation in Sage
  • Dashboard and logs
03

Initial sync without losses

We load the current state of both systems by reference, without recreating anything. We validate that every product, every URL and every historical order stays where it was.

  • Migration by reference, not recreation
  • 0 broken URLs validation
  • Testing before going live
04

Automatic operation, with visibility

From here, the connector only syncs what changes. Dashboard and logs, not a black box.

  • Dashboard monitoring
  • Sync failure alerts
  • Technical support included
